Pastor Giglio and songwriter Redman narrate this audio edition of their exploration of religious devotion, astronomy, and God. Giglioâperhaps in an attempt to compensate for the lack of full-color photographs of cosmic entities contained in the print editionâoffers up an enthusiastic reading, very often sounding much like an awestruck child. At times, this one-note performance becomes a little grating, but, at its best, Giglio's passion and how he believes astronomy relates to God's glory is infectious. The British Redman provides more narration reminiscent of a conventional lecture. And while he is not as riveting a reader as his American counterpart, the duo produce an audio that is both fascinating and engaging. A David C. Cook paperback.

With Tama Fortner. Short devotions seek to convey "awesome" science facts made possible by the awesomeness of God's creation in the areas of space, Earth, animals, and people. Each two-page entry starts with a Bible quote and includes a generic cartoony illustration. The ill-conceived mash-up of science and religion does not reliably convey even the most rudimentary of scientific facts. For religious use only.
